Elderworld
What we do

One relationship,
every part of it.

We step in the way a good family member would, present, and handling what needs handling. The decisions stay with your parents, and with you.

Medical & Health

When a diagnosis is explained, a lot arrives in a short time, and most of it does not make it home.

  • Accompanies your parent to hospital and doctor visits, and stays through the appointment.
  • Responds to a fall at home: a doctor is brought to the house first to assess, and if hospital care is needed, arranges the right hospital and gets them there.
  • Documents every medical record in one place, readable by the whole family, wherever they are.
  • After each visit, sends an update: what happened, the next appointment booked, and any medication change with the doctor's reasoning for it.
  • On request, handles daily medication reminders and tracks the vital trends, blood pressure, sugar, weight, so any change is caught early.
  • Arranges the alternative therapies your parent seeks and a professional recommends, sound therapy, pet therapy, and water therapy among them.

We coordinate the medical side. The clinical care itself stays with the professionals we bring in.

Home & Safety

The home they have lived in all their life was never designed for the age they are today.

  • Assesses the home room by room and flags what has quietly become a risk, looking most closely at the common areas where water is found, so falls and accidents are designed out.
  • Lays out the changes worth making, railings and handholds, better lighting, non-slip flooring, ramps for wheelchair movement indoors and around the residence, with options and costs, so the call stays yours.
  • On request, sources beds, easy-to-handle furniture, and cameras for the common areas, and coordinates the installation.
  • Coordinates the contractors and vendors and stays present while the work is done, so your parent is never managing workmen alone.
  • Checks everything again afterwards, so the fix holds up in daily use.
  • Briefs the household help on the everyday habits that keep the home safe, like drying the common areas where water collects, so no one slips.

Companionship & Community

Boredom is not really an emotion. It is what grows when the routines that gave a week its shape quietly fall away.

Companionship, around them
  • Builds a routine around what your parent actually loves, painting, reading, gardening, a drive to catch the sunset, a visit to a favourite temple, daily or weekly, whatever suits them.
  • Goes with them to family events, gatherings and weddings in and around the city, as a companion, not a minder.
  • Accompanies them on the errands that come with festivals and pujas, and on visits to family across the city.

Community, among people
  • Runs sessions built around their interests and age, music, yoga, pottery, light dancing, an age-appropriate sport, Tambola, city strolls, taken one-on-one or with the group, as your parent prefers.
  • Hosts a monthly high tea with like-minded elders, a standing date to talk, exchange notes and simply be among company.
  • Organises outings to what the city is putting on, a film, a play or an evening of theatre, a workshop at Chitrakala Parishath, the annual lifestyle and clothing expos, and more through the year, with the group or just the two of them.

Everyday & Errands

Independence lives in the small things. Keep those easy, and the rest of life stays open.

Everyday and wellbeing
  • Schedules and joins the morning walk, as many days a week as your parent likes.
  • Arranges a physical trainer at home for a gentle, age-appropriate workout.
  • Checks in daily or weekly on how they are doing, in body and in spirits.
Errands and accompaniment
  • Goes along for the weekly groceries.
  • Accompanies your parent where being there in person matters, government offices, the police station, and to cast their vote at election time.
  • For a parent living with a pet, arranges dog care, daily walks and grooming at home, on request.
Cover, for the days the regular help is away
  • Regular help takes leave, and the family member who usually steps in has their own life to run. For the days you can see coming, your Concierge arranges stop-gap cover so home keeps running as usual, a day, a week, or a recurring slot.
  • The Concierge sets it up and keeps it on track. It is a short stand-in for a known gap, not a staffing service, and the hands-on work is done by the cover, not by the Concierge.

Legal & Paperwork

The paperwork that keeps a life in order has a way of being put off, until the day it cannot be.

  • Brings order to the everyday paperwork, pensions, property, bank and insurance formalities, so nothing important sits half-finished.
  • Approaches the more sensitive matters, wills and nominations, gently and at your family's pace, bringing in the right professionals only when you are ready.
  • Coordinates the lawyers, chartered accountants and notaries, so your parent is never chasing offices alone.
  • Prepares each appointment in advance, documents gathered, questions written down, so the meeting is short and clear.
  • Accompanies your parent through every step, then keeps every document in one place for the family, with a clear record of what is done and what is pending.
  • Sends an update after each step, so you always know where things stand.

We coordinate the process and stay beside your parent through it. The legal and financial work stays with the professionals we bring in, and the decisions stay with your family.

Curated Travel

The wish to travel does not fade with age. What changes is the arranging of it.

We curate small trips for elders around a shared interest and an easy pace, so a journey comes with company, not just a companion. Some want a pilgrimage, some a slow, silent hill station, some a chair by the sea. Like-minded elders, a place chosen with care, and time that belongs to them.

  • Brings together small groups of elders with similar tastes, pilgrimages, slow hill stations, quiet beaches, unhurried evenings, so no one travels alone unless they want to.
  • Plans the activities around the destination, the walks, the sights, the meals, the quiet hours, all paced for the group and shaped to what they came for.
  • Visits every destination first, then senior-proofs the journey: accessibility checked at each stop, the pace kept gentle, accommodation assessed for comfort and safety.
  • Sends a companion when the family is not travelling, and stays present on the ground from start to finish.
  • Handles everything that makes travel hard, so what is left is the good part.

What stays theirs: whether to go, and the pace once they do.

Something else in mind?

If it is not on this list, that is the conversation to start.

Tell us what you are trying to solve, and your Concierge will shape a plan around it. Elderworld is moldable by design; it fits the family, not the other way around.

Arrange a first visit.

A care coordinator sits down with you and your parent, face to face, for a short and structured assessment of their health, routines, and what worries you most, then tells you honestly whether Elderworld is a fit. The first visit is no obligation.
